I absolutely LOVE this stamp set. A long time ago I use to be a Stampin' Up demonstrator. However, that didn't pan out. Anyway, I started to get rid of some of my stamp sets, but I just couldn't get rid of Frosty. Well, Frosty is now discontinue, but I still love that set. So, todays card is using that stamp set.
Here's what I'm using:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" sheet of card stock (I used a navy blue). I scored at the 2 1/8 on each side
3" x 3 1/2" sheet of card stock (I used white)
3 1/4" x 3 3/4" sheet of card stock (I used a cranberry)
Inks I used:
White
Black
Brown
I used texturing tools from Close to My Heart to distress the sides of the white and cranberry with the brown.
to color the snowman I decided to use pastels to give it the soft look.
I used about 20ins of ribbon (white)
Now I'm going to build the card. First off I stamp the snowflake on in different areas of my blue. I also stamped Happy Holiday in the inside of the card. Next I stamp the snowman on to the white and colored him in with the pastels. Once thats done I attached the white to the cranberry. I set that aside and I attach my ribbon to my card. Afterwards I used some popup adhesive and angle my snowman.
Here we have my finish project:

Christmas Card with Christmas Cheer
All right, I know it has been a while since I have posted anything to Love to Craft. I thought, "Hey it's Christmas time, I probably should make a card. Anyway, I used the Close To My Heart Christmas Cheer Stamp set. Truth be told I don't know if it has been discontinued. However, it's a cute stamp set.
Here's the stamp set I used:
Here's the stamp set I used:
Seriously, isn't that stinkin' cute. In my projected I used 5'x12" piece of card stock and folded in half which made my card 5"x6". From there I used a white card stock to stamp my image. A scrap piece to stamp Santa on and eventually cut him out. Once I was done I used water colors to color in the tree and Santa. Then I position Santa used foam adhesive to pop Santa up. I added some glitter ribbon and this is my my finished product:
I love the simple look of the card, but it still pretty and festive. Maybe I will get better at making directions, but I wouldn't count on that. Well, there is your holiday cheer and I hope you guys have a happy holidays.

cupcake card
I have to say I really like using acrylic cards because you can decorate them using paint of paper. With this card I was testing out the new cricut cartridge that is exclusive to Close to my heart. They even have coordinating stamps that go with some of shapes. For instance the cupcake is one of those stamps. It is so nice to use the cartridge.

Danica's Decor
So, I have been working on some wall hangings for my children's room. Danica already had the letters done, but I decided to redo them. I decided to use the sweetheart workshop kit for my project. I also found these scrapbook frames from Michaels and made a coordinating layout to hang on the wall. I think that it is darling the set is. I plan to do one for Kayson too. I will post his when I finish his letters and frame. So when I redo Danica's room I plan to go with a black and pink theme. So stay tune for Kayson's.

Crafts from Convention
Ok, I went to the Close to my Heart Convention in July 13-16. It was a lot of fun. I got some really great ideas going there. We also made some awesome stuff. However, I didn't finish them until I got home, because I had Kayson with me. I manage to finish them when I got home.
The first picture is the first page of an according book that we made the last day. There are more pictures that go with it. I hope that I will be able to get that together in another post. The second set of pictures are using the new roxie paper. Of course I have picture of Kayson for this layout. That was so much fun to finish. The last project is featuring the new memory game box. However, you can use it for other things. I decided to use it as a box filled with little puzzle. I think that this product is my favorite of all the new stuff.

Cards that I received during the card exchange
My previous blog showed a card I made for the card exchange at convention. Well, I made quite a bit of cards and I received a lot of cool looking cards. There is a lot of talent out there and I'm grateful that I got to meet some of those people at convention. I plan to get crafting since I feel so motivated. I hope to have a lot of neat things with in the next couple of months.
