Just had to Try

Close to My Heart is coming out with another how to book next month. The book is called MAGIC. Let me tell you that you want to get this book, because its awesome. Besided the point of being awesome, with this book can help you make your pages come alive and become interactive. Not only that you are able to add more photos than before.

I just had to try a layout to see if I could do it and I was. With the layout I chose I was able to get 13 pictures on a two page layout. This book is perfect for those who take a lot of photos and would like to cut down on pages, but be able to see all those wonderful memories. The book comes out September 1st.

Thank you Card

I actually started with the Splendor paper, however, I wasn't feeling the colors of the card. Don't get me wrong I do love that packet, but my vision wasn't coming to live. So I decided to change the paper pack to the Cherry-O paper, and suddenly it came alive. I was liking the combinations of the Chocolate, Tulip, Crystal Blue, and Blush come together. I used Card Chatter- Thank you, Friendship's Flights, and Friendship Blessing. Well, it finally was something I envision. Well, I hope that you like the card. I will keep on Crafting.

IT"S DONE!!!!

I have finally completed my craft room and it only took me a week. I was so excited to get it done. I can actually find what I'm looking for and not get frustrated, because I think my daughter has touched it. YEAH for me. LOVE IT.

A gift for a friend

One of my good friends saw my stationery box and thought it was adorable. So I decided to make her one. I know that her favorite color is pink, so I went with boom-di-ada level 1 paper packet. I also used various stamp sets to make this box. However, the one I really focus on was My Arcylix Friendship's Flight. I really love the colors of this paper packet. It is a really bright and cheery colors. I hope she likes it.

Summer card

Busy making cards and avoiding what I really need to do. I just wish sometimes it would magically clean it on its own. Oh well.

Been Cleaning

Well, I have been going through all my crafting stuff lately trying to clean up my craft room. I came across this artical about making a gift bag with an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of paper. I ended up side track from the original project, because I just had to try to make the cute bag. It didn't take long to make. I ended loving the project. I love beening able to make cute things.

Working with a Level 1 Scrapbooking Kit

I finally found a way to use the Level 1 Scrapbooking Kit. I normally make my own pages, so I don't really see myself using those pages for scrapbooking. I was looking at Splitcoast stampers and saw this great idea, so I decided to try it wih the Level 1 Kit. For this example I used a Perfect Day kit. I was impress on how cute it turned out. However, I think any kit would really do as long of the type of print. I use pretty much everything in the paper pack and I still have paper left. I also used Just Blooms spring flowers and Friendship Blessings My Acrylix. So there is more than one way to use the level one paper packs. This is my wonderful friend Alex. She was the neighbor that got me started with Close to My Heart. She's such a great friend. However, she had to move which made think I need to sign up with that company. I'm sad that she is gone. However, we do have something in common the love for Close to My Heart.

Starter kit

It all started with good friend just had to move, because they just had to get out of here. Of course she had to show me how great this stuff was before she left. Really bummed me out that she had to go. So, I had to sign with Close to My Heart, because I LOVE there stamps. When I signed with them I saw how much stuff I got and I was so amazed at it. I just love to craft. It is a wonderful company to be apart of it. So this is the start of my journey with them.

Card Making

I love this card. I have to say that it is super cute. However, you don't have to agree with me. However, I do love to make cards that are a little more challenging. Makes whoever gets it be amazed at what you can do.
